Darvel became the talk of the town at the start of this week after becoming the first sixth tier side to ever knock out top flight opposition in the Scottish Cup, beating Aberdeen 1–0.

That has led to some calling it the biggest upset in the history of the competition, but Highland teams are no strangers to cup shocks themselves.

Just a couple of years ago, Highland League outfit Brora Rangers got the better of then-Championship leaders Hearts at Dudgeon Park thanks to goals form Jordan MacRae and Martin McLean.

Although there was not as big of a gap in terms of leagues back in 2010, nobody would have expected second-tier Ross County to defeat holders Celtic at Hampden and make it into the final courtesy of strikes from Steven Craig and Martin Scott.

Talking of the green half of Glasgow, who can forget Inverness Caledonian Thistle's famous 3–1 win at Parkhead. Barry Wilson, a Lubomir Moravcik own goal and Paul Sheerin put ICT on the map in the match that spawned that "Super Caley Go Ballistic" headline.

So what is the biggest shock of them all? Vote in our poll below to let us know what you think!
