Pentland level on points with Wick Old Stagers in Caithness rifle league

Round seven of the Caithness Small Bore Rifle Association winter league saw four shooters hitting the maximum score. D Mowat (Pentland), W A Campbell (Halkirk) and Huntly pair W A Copland and G Habiby all returned scores of 100 in Division One.
Pentland’s victory over Wick Old Stagers means both teams are on 10 points in the top flight, with the Old Stagers having a superior aggregate.
Watten maintained their one-point lead in Division Two after drawing with Orkney.
Lairg now only have a one-point lead over Westfield in Division Three, while Dingwall moved six points clear at the top of Division Four.
In the juniors, S Campbell’s victory over R Sutherland opened up a four-point lead at the top of the first division.
In the second division, L Taylor also leads by four points over C Mackay.
