The Caithness team showcased their skills well and the following medals were achieved: Eog Speirs, silver in sword and bronze in sparring; Kerry Speirs, bronze in bo-staff and bronze in knife; Robyn Speirs, silver in knife; Mia MacGregor, bronze in sparring; Rebecca Nightingale, bronze in sparring; Olivier Spence, bronze in forms; Tom Donogher, gold in forms and gold in sparring; Alfie MacGregor, silver in forms; Georgia Donogher, gold in sparring and bronze in forms.
Club instructor Stephen Mezals said: “I’m extremely proud of all of the competitors from Caithness Tang Soo Do and they should be proud of themselves too.
“They put in a lot of work to prepare themselves for this competition and they gave it their all on the day. What a tremendous result for them and for the club.”

The students of Caithness Tang Soo Do will now continue to train hard and prepare themselves for the biennial Worldwide Tang Soo Do Family (WWTSDF) Championships, which this year will be hosted by Scotland Tang Soo Do in Inverness from August 8-10.
