Lynne and Alec are ladies' and gents' champions at Thurso Bowling Club
Lynne Swanson was crowned as ladies' champion and Alec Mackay took the gents' championship during a busy finals weekend at Thurso Bowling Club.
The ladies' and gents' competitions were sponsored again by Gary Youngson Wealth Management.
Leah Taylor made an impressive start in the ladies' final but it proved to be a game of two halves as Lynne came back to win.
Alec came out on top in the gents' final against Alan Morrison – a close game that could have gone either way.
Saturday's games had got under way with the President's final between Ian Mackay and Nigel Gower. It was nip-and-tuck until Nigel found form and won the tie.

The ladies' Holborn was sponsored by Buds ’n’ Blooms and was contested between Jackie Swanson and Liz Rhodes. Jackie got off to a flying start but then Liz found her form and came back to win the tie.
The junior championship was sponsored by Kiddie Care childminding. This was a family affair with Maddison Morrison playing against her cousin Scott Bain, with Scott emerging as winner.
The Harmsworth competition saw Ian Mackay playing his second final of the day, this time against Fergus Silverwood. Excellent bowls were played by both gents with Ian being victorious.
The mixed pairs were sponsored by Norscot, with Nigel Gower and Janet Sinclair up against Marina Bain and Alan Morrison.
With Nigel buoyed by his victory earlier in the day, he kept his form and played well. Alan and Marina played some lovely bowls but in the end Janet and Nigel were the winners.
The ladies' pairs, sponsored by Speedy Skip Hire, saw Lynne Swanson and Liz Rhodes against Betty MacDonald and Joan Elder. It was close to start with but Liz and Lynne stepped up a gear to secure the victory.
On Sunday the gents' beginners sponsored by Henderson's opticians saw another family affair with Ian Cannop defeating his grandson Jamie Newman.
The senior citizens' competition, sponsored by Elizabeth's Fabrics, saw Clair Robertson against Nigel Gower who was in his third final. Could he do the hat-trick. Yes, he could. Clair played some great bowls but Nigel pipped him in the end.
The ladies' triples saw Lynne Swanson, Janet Sinclair and Julie Knapp against Leah Taylor, Deborah Lafferty and Liz Rhodes. All square on the final end, Leah's team took the victory by one shot.
In the gents' pairs, Alan Morrison and Ronnie Bain Snr were up against father and son Alec and Ian Mackay. Ronnie and Alan came out on top.
The ladies' beginners, sponsored by Henderson's opticians, was another family affair featuring mother and daughter Linda and Lisa Cannop. Linda played some excellent bowls but Lisa was not letting mum have this one and she was the victor.
The gents' triples, Champion of Champions and Matt Avery finals were scheduled for Thursday.
