Lybster kept up their 100 per cent record in Caithness AFA Division Two with a "faultless" display as they thumped Swifts 6-1 on Wednesday night.

The village side, relegated last season, were knocked out of the Highland Amateur Cup at Lochinver on Saturday but they have now won three out of three in the league.

There were doubles for Lewis Mackillop and Billy Cairns, with Danny Doogan and Kevin Cairns also on target. Swifts' goal came from a Kian Mackay penalty.

Lybster manager Cameron Mackenzie said: "It was a faultless performance with the boys bouncing back from Saturday – a great team effort.

"That's seven goals in three games for Lewis Mackillop, and if I had to single anyone out I would say he's going to be a huge asset this season."

Keiss followed up their Highland Amateur Cup preliminary round success against Brora Wanderers with a comfortable 4-0 away victory over Thurso Pentland. The scorers were Oliver Manton, Callum Musgrave and James Robertson (2).

Keiss manager Bradley Thomson said: "It was another good performance against a young Pentland side. We are looking to build on this now for the coming weeks."

Top Joe’s and Watten drew 1-1 at Ormlie.

It took until midway into the second half for Joe’s to break the deadlock with a close-range finish from Kevin MacGregor. Watten equalised in the last couple of minutes through Kai Cameron.
