Lots of good scores at Caithness Riding Club's dressage league

Achieving the highest percentage at this month's dressage competition held by Caithness Riding Club was UHI North Highland equestrian lecturer James Munro riding Kincullen Moonstone (Riley).
Not only did James and Riley win the Novice 24 class with a score of 68.48 per cent, they also came first with their Novice 34 test. It was a good return to dressage for the local instructor as he started his outing by winning both the preliminary tests riding Prince.
The intro tests saw some newcomers with Caysie Sinclair making a great debut at the winter dressage league by winning the Intro C class riding Zara.
In the junior section Erin Hewitson won both the preliminary tests with Whaupshill Touche, scoring an impressive 67.88 and 67.27.
The February dressage league competition attracted a good number of riders and the judge for the day was Kimberley Battleday. A band of helpers from the committee helped make the event a success
The club is always on the lookout for more new faces to come along to these events.
The next dressage league will be on March 11 at the indoor school in Halkirk.
