Listen: Balls & Whistles episode 22 – Euro fever, Walsh returns to Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Callachan speaks after Ross County move, golf and more!
Euro fever has officially hit Balls & Whistles! The tournament kicks off today, while Scotland's first match is on Monday, and we couldn't help but talk all about it.
There is still some news about the Highlands' clubs too though, as Tom Walsh has returned to Inverness Caledonian Thistle as Billy Dodds' first signing as head coach, while we hear from Ross Callachan after his move to Ross County was confirmed last week.
Highland League fixtures are out for the 2021/22 season too, while Clachnacuddin have also completed a mural tribute to a club legend and reshuffled their backroom staff - and of course North Caledonian League sides and Caley Thistle Women are back in action this weekend.
Away from football, there are a few really interesting stories as the course record has been broken at Muir of Ord Golf Club, while Nairn Golf Club are putting the final preparations on their course ahead of the Amateur Championships starting on Monday. Will has also been speaking to the mountain biking team from Ross-shire looking to compete on the world stage.
