WICK’s Keiran Ross was the star of the 35-strong far north contingent who traveleld to Inverness to take part in Highland Badminton Group’s championships at the weekend.

Many of the youngsters got through a few rounds and put notable performance but Kieran’s display was the undoubted highlight. He battled through to win the under-12 singles and also partnered Ross Bain to finish runners-up in the level doubles.
