Keiss manager Bradley Thomson praised his team's character as they came from behind three times before sealing a dramatic 4-3 victory over Brora Wanderers.
Lewis Gill struck the winner in Saturday's Highland Amateur Cup preliminary round tie at Ham Park in Dunnet with a great free kick. That was Gill's second goal of the game and Alan Steven also hit a double for the Caithness AFA second division side.
Thomson said: "It was a passionately fought cup tie that was a good watch for any neutral.
"It was a much better performance from us. We showed a lot of character and fight to come from behind three times in the match and grab the winner at the end."
There was shoot-out agony for John O'Groats as they were beaten on penalties by Lairg Rovers after a goalless draw.
Lybster, Swifts and Watten also bowed out at the preliminary round stage following defeats to Lochinver, Golspie Stafford and Lochbroom respectively.
