Huntly 'A' take over top spot in Caithness rifle league

Round seven of Caithness Small Bore Rifle Association's winter league saw six shooters with the maximum score of 100. They were B Young (Wick Old Stagers), R Campbell (Halkirk), S Sharp, W Copland and L Thomson (all Huntly), all in Division One, along with Watten's G Bremner in Division Two.
Huntly "A" have now moved into top spot in Division One, a point ahead of the bogey. Wick Old Stagers "A", four points behind the leaders, are the closest Caithness team.
Watten "B" still lead the way in Division Two, three points clear of Wick Old Stagers "B".
Dingwall stretched their lead in Division Three to four points after Keiss lost to the bogey score.
Lairg still lead Division Four, extending their lead after Huntly "B" lost to Halkirk.
Watten "C" remain at the top of Division Five with seven wins out of seven. Wick Old Stagers "C" are two points behind.
R Levack (Halkirk) still leads junior league Division One. I Simpson (Wick) has moved into second place, equal on points with J Taylor (Westfield), with Simpson’s 12-point better aggregate separating the two shooters.
L Taylor (Westfield) is in top spot in junior league Division Two, four points clear of G Campbell (Halkirk).
