Hat-trick of Caithness wins at Golspie kart event

Three competitors from Caithness were celebrating after each emerging as winners in the recent Motorsport UK third-round meeting at the Golspie track.

Jamie Mackay, Halkirk, won the 177 class, while Tom Binnie, Halkirk, triumphed in the Junior Max. Jack Ryan, Castletown, came out on top in the Honda Cadet, winning his three heats and the final.

All three are members of the Golspie-based North of Scotland Kart Club and they race on the last weekend of the month from March to October.
