Harper's derby ends in a draw as young Logan Moodie continues to catch the eye in Wick and District Darts League
A number of fixtures in the Wick and District Darts League were called off last week after black ice made conditions too treacherous to travel in.
However, five games did beat the chill, including the Harper's derby.
There, George Baker and Sid Davidson were the star performers for their respective sides, who ended up sharing the spoils.
A full-strength Norsemen squad got the better of Smiddy 3, but it was one of the beaten team's players who stood out as a highlight from the match.
Talented Logan Moodie, who recently recorded his first 180 in the league at just 14 years old, pushed maximum-count leader Aiden Sutherland all the way in a valiant effort before losing 3-2.
Those who have already been to Thrumster this season see big things in Moodie's future based on the impression the teenager has already made at such a young age.
Queens player David Simpson hit his own first league maximum to take his side to the top of the table.
In the all women's tie, Seaforth Lafies B thumped the Camps, who did see Sammy Troy win 3-2 against Skye Blackwell.
