Halkirk United trio in North Caledonian League team of the season

Three Halkirk United players have been named in the North Caledonian League’s team of the season for 2024/25.

Goalkeeper Kieran Macleod, left-back Innes Mackintosh and midfielder James Mackintosh were all selected – for the second year in a row in the case of Innes Mackintosh.

The team of the season is voted for by managers, coaches and committee members from every North Caley club, following nominations from the clubs for a goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and forward.

Halkirk United won 18 of their 22 league games, finishing as runners-up to Invergordon.

North Caledonian League team of the season: Kieran Macleod (Halkirk United), Jamie Skinner (St Duthus), Blair Morrison (Invergordon), Innes Mackintosh (Halkirk United), James Mackintosh (Halkirk United), Cameron Sutherland (Golspie), James Ross (Invergordon), Sam Mackay (Inverness Athletic), Finn As-Chainey (St Duthus), Calum Brown (Invergordon), Russell Macintyre (Inverness Athletic).
