Halkirk United rounded off its most successful season ever with a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Dingwall Thistle to claim the SWL Cup.

The Anglers won its third piece of silverware of the 2011/12 campaign at Dudgeon Park in Brora through two goals from Michael Bremner along with one each from Alan Larnach and Chris Sutherland.

Jocky Mackay's side made up for last week's disappointing 3-0 defeat against Muir of Ord Rovers in the Football Times Cup Final in Balintore.

The Anglers sealed its second consecutive North Caledonian League championship with last minute drama against Clach (A) at the beginning of the month along with winning the North Caledonian Cup beating Golspie Sutherland 2-1 in November.

The West Caithness side also knocked out Wick Academy and Clachnacuddin to reach the North of Scotland Cup semi final before going down 1-0 to Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
