RB Leipster lost their 100 per cent record in this season's Caithness 7s League to an excellent Groats side that welcomed back some legends of the local seven-a-side game.

The match was finely poised at 3-3 when James Macintosh was sent off for a last-man challenge, and Groats romped home from there for a 6-3 victory.

Colts continued their winning run to go level at the top after a comfortable win against Barberlona.

Halkirk secured a deserved victory against Young Spurs, while Green Road got back to winning ways against a spirited Bignold Loyals.
