Wick and District Darts League: Four maximums as Knockout Cup semi-final line-up is confirmed





Seaview, RBL, Norseman and Old Smiddy Inn booked their places in the last four of Wick and District Darts League’s Knockout Cup after coming through their respective quarter-final ties this week.

League action resumes on Tuesday, January 14.

Knockout Cup results – Quarter-finals: Seaforth 0, Seaview 4; RBL 4, Castletown Poachers 3; Norseman 4, Comm 2; Smiddy “3” 2, Old Smiddy Inn 4.

Semi-final draw: Seaview v RBL; Norseman v Old Smiddy Inn.

Maximums (4): Ian Coghill (Old Smiddy Inn), Andrew Henderson (Norseman), Logan Moodie (Smiddy “3”), Willie Plank (Castletown Poachers).

Shortest leg: Kevin Macgregor (Seaview), Richie Budge (Seaforth), both 16 darts.

The Highland inter-county darts team will entertain Perthshire at the Raigmore Motel, Inverness, this Saturday.

Top maximum hitter of 2024 was Seaview’s Marc Macgregor with 10, followed by Aidan Sutherland (Castletown Poachers) on five. Kevin Macgregor (Seaview), Donald Sutherland (Comm), Ryan Campbell (Seaview) and Graham Crowe (Old Smiddy Inn) all had four.

Next, with three, were Ali Simpson (RBL), Kevin Donald (Castletown Poachers), Ryan Campbell (Seaforth) and Richard Thain (Old Smiddy Inn).
