REAY Indoor Bowling Club held the first open rinks competition of the season last Saturday.

Nineteen teams competed from all over Caithness and north Sutherland. Forss Bowling Club triumphed as eventual winners, narrowly beating one of the two home club teams, Reay "1" in the final.
