North Caledonian League and Scottish Rugby announces all matches cancelled this weekend as mark of respect to Queen Elizabeth II

Football and rugby matches involving north teams have been postponed this weekend due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The North Caledonian League have announced all matches on Saturday and Wednesday have been postponed.

Scottish Rugby have announced all club matches, including Caithness's trip to Aberdeenshire is off.

It has also been reported other competitions this weekend could follow suit in being postponed but have yet to be confirmed.
