Five hit maximums in latest round of Caithness rifle league

Round five of Caithness Small Bore Rifle Association's winter league saw five shooters achieving the maximum score – H Simpson and D Simpson (Wick Old Stagers), W Campbell (Halkirk) and L Thomson and G Habiby (Huntly), all in Division One.
Old Stagers "A" are two points clear of Huntly "A" and Pentland "A" in Division One.
Halkirk "B" remain top of Division Two despite losing to Orkney. Watten "B" are now only a point behind Halkirk.
The Westfield "A" team’s loss to Huntly "B" has allowed Lairg to join Westfield on eight points each in Division Three. Westfield have the better aggregate.
Dingwall are unbeaten in Division Four and lead by four points over Clach, Watten "C" and Stirkoke "C".
The Westfield "B" team’s loss to the bogey now sees them two points behind in Division Five.

Junior league Division One: S Campbell 7 beat J Bremner 14; R Sutherland 8 beat G Campbell 12; I Simpson 10 beat J Sutherland 100.
Top score in Division One for round five was 93 shot by S Campbell.
S Campbell remains two points clear and is still unbeaten.
Junior league Division Two: C Mackay 30 beat G Mill 100; L Taylor 36 beat E Swanson 100; D Sutherland v B Thomson (no contest).
Top score in Division Two for round five was 70 shot by L Taylor.
L Taylor is top of the table, leading C Mackay by two points.
