Five Highland League clubs looking for new managers as another boss steps down
Five Highland League clubs are now looking for permanent managers after Banks O'Dee were the latest club tonight to confirm they are looking to appoint new men in charge.
Banks O'Dee
The Aberdeen club confirmed tonight manager Jamie Watt and assistant Roy McBain left the club with immediate effect.
Their last game in charge was the 3-0 defeat against Nairn County at Station Park.
Banks O'Dee are the third club in the last five days to confirm they are looking for a new manager.
Brora Rangers
Brora Rangers confirmed on Thursday Craig Campbell resigned as first team manager.
Campbell had stepped up from his assistant role under Steven Mackay when the latter stepped down early last season, and immediately masterminded a turnaround in fortunes at Dudgeon Park winning the Highland League Cup and North of Scotland Cup.
Stuart Golabek has been appointed interim manager until a replacement is found.
Inverurie Locos
Inverurie Locos confirmed on Sunday that manager Richard Hastings left the club.
It came after the Railwaymen were beaten 4-2 by Clachnacuddin at Harlaw Park on Saturday.
The former Inverness Caledonian Thistle defender was in charge of Inverurie for 62 matches, with his first match being against Fraserburgh in August 2021.
Lossiemouth
Joe Russell stood down as manager of Lossiemouth last month after being in charge of the club for four years.
Ian Campbell was appointed interim manager and is believed to be the favourite to take the role on a permanent basis.
Strathspey Thistle
Strathspey Thistle confirmed the departure of manager Charlie Brown from the Grantown club last month.
It follows a tough season for the Seafield Park outfit with just one victory so far this campaign away to Clachnacuddin.
Brian Ritchie is acting as interim manager until a permanent replacement is found.
