Five Caithness surfers called up to World Games squad

CAITHNESS will have five surfers that will compete for Scotland at the World Surfing Games.

Thurso based surfers Shoana Blackadder, Mark Boyd, Scott Main, Phoebe Strachan and Dunnet surfer Chris Clarke have been called up to the Scotland squad.

Scottish Men's champion Mark Cameron from Fraserburgh has also been selected.

The World Surfing Games will take place at Biarritz, France in May.

Selection for the European Surfing Championships in Norway in October will take place during the Scottish Surfing Championships at Thurso East between Friday, April 14 and Sunday, April 16.
