First national junior cap for Thurso teen

A Thurso teenager is looking forward to earning his first junior Scottish cap.

Centre Jordan Miller is the latest member of Caithness RFC’s junior rugby academy to secure national recognition.

The 16-year-old has been selected for the Scotland under-16 squad which is taking part in the Conwy International Rugby Festival in Wales next week.

Jordan, a member of the Caledonia under-16 squad, has recently been on three national training weekends and has been rewarded with a place in the final squad.

During the Conwy tournament, Scotland will play against Wales, France and Italy.

Jordan is a member of the successful Caithness under-16 team who recently lost at Murrayfield in the final of the national Plate.
