Emphasis on enjoyment as Wick, Thurso and Orkney netball teams get together

Wick High School hosted teams from Netball Orkney and Thurso High School S1 for an event at which the emphasis was on getting together for enjoyment and gaining experience.

Games were scored, but the purpose was not to find a winner. One of the three sides from Orkney – the Yellows – ended up as top performers, with Team Pink from Thurso S1 second equal along with another Orkney team.

The Caithness schools competed well and most of the games they played were close. Seven teams took part.
