Double triumph for Halkirk sides

HALKIRK school pupils have pulled off a notable sporting double in winning the primary boys’ football and girls’ netball competitions in west Caithness. The respective sides will play the east schools champions in the Caithness finals later this month. The youngsters are seen here in their the football strips, sponsored by Howden Joinery and the netball team strips, sponsored by GS Donn.
