THE Francis Street Club sides made a winning start in the Wick and District Darts League’s knock-out fours (701 x 5) on their patch.

FSC Ladies won the event at the final hurdle; it was the Crown Bar that lost 0-3 to the home side with Sandra Nicolson (FSC) hitting the winning double. Losing semi-finalists were Camps Bar and the Queen’s Hotel.

The winning team consisted of Sheona Campbell, Sandra Nicolson, Sharon Swanson and captain Carol Sutherland, while runners-up were Teresa Stubbings, Cath Begg, Liz Ronaldson and captain Claire Thain.

The men’s event was won by the Legion (Alec Johnston, Malcolm Begg; Ronnie Plowman and captain Michael Campbell) who came out 3-0 winners over Brown Trout "2" ( Jamie Wares, Evan Sutherland; Neil Anderson and captain Donnie Farqhuar).

The losing semi-finalists were Camps Bar and Norseman Hotel.
