Daisy 2000 shooting success for Halkirk junior member

Halkirk Rifle Club junior member Sophie Campbell has become the latest winner of Caithness Small Bore Rifle Association's Daisy 2000 indoor championship. She received the trophy from the association's chairman, Graham Mackay.

Sixteen-year-old Sophie, a pupil at Thurso High School, achieved her first win in the competition, which also has an outdoor version that is shot in the summer. The competition was held at Lieurary hall.
