Caithness United under-14s underlined their strength in depth when they romped to an 11-2 victory at Invergordon on Sunday in their latest match in the Moray Firth Youth Development League.

Caithness coach Stewart Ross said: “It was great to see how the boys tried to play, and it really shows the strength in depth we have in our squad.

"It’s always good to get a few goals, but we were more pleased with the patient and deliberate build-up play which led to the majority of our attacking moves.”

Ross added that he and the other coaches are looking forward to the second half of the season, "to see what improvements our squad can make in the reverse fixtures”.

Caithness United scorers were Logan Kirman (5), Max Ross (3), John Mullally, Kody Munro and Morgan Timbrell.
