CASTLETOWN and Swifts need to sharpen up their acts if they are to retain their County League first-division status.

A 1-1 draw between the sides in Thurso earned each their first point of the campaign but the pair remain adrift at the foot of the table.

Staxigoe United and Halkirk were, meanwhile, sharing six goals at Lower Bignold this week.

Staxigoe United 3, Wick Thistle 0

Division one:

Swifts 1, Castletown 1

Staxigoe United 3, Halkirk 3.

Division two:

FSC 2, Lybster 5
