CAITHNESS Shinty Club have been forced to switch their Aberdein Considine Sutherland Cup first-round match to Beauly after Viewfirth Park in Thurso was ruled unplayable.

Caithness were due to welcome Beauly to Thurso on Saturday afternoon but a pitch inspection ruled parts of the ground at Viewfirth were waterlogged.

The match will go ahead instead at Braeview Park with throw-up at 1.30pm.
