Caithness Disability Sports Club members Innis Mahon and his brother Aaron collected four medals at the Highland disability sports meeting in Inverness.

Assisted by mother Catherine, Innis came home with a gold medal for the standing long jump and a silver in the shot put. Aaron took silver in the 100m sprint and silver in the standing long jump.

The annual event was held at the Queen’s Park stadium with athletes competing from all over the Highlands.

Caithness Disability Sports Club chairman Willie Mackay said: “I along with my voluntary committee are proud of both Innis and Aaron who continue to compete so well at regional level. They put a lot of preparation into their chosen disciplines and quite rightly deserve a well-earned result.”
