Buckie Thistle v Wick Academy is on

The match between Buckie Thistle and Wick Academy is scheduled to go ahead as the only fixture in the Highland League to be played this afternoon.

The Buckie Thistle website reported that a pitch inspection was carried out at 9am and reported that there were currently no problems with the pitch and the game will go ahead as scheduled.

Eight games in the Highland League have been called off due to snow and frozen pitches.

The games called off are:

Strathspey Thistle v Lossiemouth

Clachnacuddin v Brora Rangers

Formartine United v Fort William

Rothes v Inverurie Locos

Keith v Nairn County

Forres Mechanics v Fraserburgh

Cove Rangers v Deveronvale

Huntly v Turriff United
