Brora Rangers thrash Vikings in NoS Cup quarter-final

Football.
Football.

A SOUPED-up second-half display propelled Brora Rangers to a 7-1 win over Thurso in last night’s quarter-final of the North of Scotland Cup at Harmsworth Park, Wick.

It looked ominous for the Vikings when they went two down in the opening eight minutes to the slick Sutherland side.

But a penalty from James Murray reduced the deficit to 2-1 at the interval.

Brora sub Liam Baxter bagged a hat-trick as his side struck five without reply in the second half.

Brora make a return to the Harmsworth to play Wick Academy in the semi-final.
