Bremner hits 180 on Smiddy '4' debut in Wick darts league

Council leader Raymond Bremner hit the magic 180 for Smiddy “4” on his Wick and District Darts League debut for Harry Macbeath's side.

Camps ladies did well, with Vicki Miller posting a 97 outshot and Jeanette Longstaff making it two wins from two.

Young Ryan Campbell was the star man for Smiddy “2” as they won the Thrumster derby against Smiddy “3”.

Seaforth men beat the Norseman.

Results – Division One: Castletown 3, Harper's 5; Seaforth 5, Norseman 3; Seaview 6, Village Inn 2; Harper's “B” 2, Smiddy Inn 6.

Division Two: Comm 5, Harper's “C” 3; Smiddy “3” 3, Smiddy “2” 5; Smiddy “4” 5, Camps ladies 3.

Raymond Bremner (Smiddy “4”), Ryan Campbell (Smiddy “2”), Dave Alexander (Smiddy Inn), Richie Budge (Seaforth) and Ryan Campbell (Seaforth) all hit 180.

Ryan Campbell hit the quickest recorded leg in 15 darts.

There were no ton-plus checkouts.
