NINE Caithness athletes recently took part in Inverness Harriers’ first athletics open meeting of the season with wins and personal bests all round.
Eleven-year-old newcomer Conor Hendry made his track-and-field debut with excellent results in both his events.
Imhotep Booth, Stephanie Eyers and Stuart Kirk gained PBs in all their events which was a great start to the season.
U13 girls – 100m – 3 Stephanie Eyers, 15.91s (PB). 800m – 4 S. Eyers, 3.05.49 (PB). Shot put – 1 S. Eyers, 7.70m (PB).
U13 boys – 100m – 7 Conor Hendry, 16.14s (PB). 13 Amentep Booth 17.87s. 200m – 3 C. Hendry, 32.37s (PB).
Long jump – 11 A. Booth 2.28m. 800m – 4 Stuart Kirk, 2.48.32 (PB). Shot put – 1 S. Kirk, 5.52m (PB).
U15 girls – 100m – 7 Neftera Booth, 17.31s. 800m – 3 Rhiannon Kirk, 2.38.89. 200m – 6 R. Kirk, 30.93s (PB). High jump – 4 N. Booth 1.05m. Long jump – 6 R. Kirk, 3.89m (PB).
U15 boys – Long jump – 1 Imhotep Booth, 4.75m (PB). 100m – 3 I. Booth, 13.75s (PB).
U17 women – 200m – 1 Sarah Henderson, 27.27s. 400m – 1 S. Henderson, 65.95s.
Senior men – 400m – 2 Mark Hendry, 66.90s.
