HARMSWORTH Park is set to host one of the most important games in its history as the Scorries make one final push for the Scottish Challenge Cup.

Wick Academy are still within a shout of making the Scottish Football League competition which will involve all 30 SFL sides and two Highland League teams with national club licences.

The Scorries are currently level with Keith on 54 points as both prepare to play their final matches of the season.

Inverurie Locos have already claimed the first spot leaving Wick Academy and Keith to battle it out for the last remaining place in the tournament.

Wick Academy will host Rothes tomorrow with a 3pm kickoff while Keith welcome Deveronvale to Kynoch Park at the same time.

The Moray men have a superior goal difference over their Caithness rivals after their shock 6-0 win against champions Forres Mechanics, who fielded a second-string side on Wednesday night.

To beat Keith on goal difference, Wick Academy would realistically have to score at least nine against Rothes and hope that if Keith were to win they would only do so by a single goal.

However if the Banffers manage to deny their hosts victory, Wick can claim seventh spot and a place in the Challenge Cup with a win, regardless of how many goals scored.

Live updates on both matches will be available on Twitter on @GroatWillClark from 3pm.
