Woman denies assaulting partner at their Wick home

A Wick woman has denied assaulting her partner at their home in the town.

Kelly Marie Haven pleaded not guilty at Wick Sheriff Court on Wednesday to striking him on the head with a blunt object, to his injury, on February 1.

The alleged offence is said to have been aggravated by the involvement of a partner or ex partner.

Haven, of Glamis Road, had her trial fixed for August 5.
