Winners of the annual High Life Highland Awards announced in Strathpeffer

Employees of High Life Highland have been celebrated at an awards event in in Strathpeffer on Thursday evening.

The winners were:

  • Volunteer Awards: Tilly Grist for support to youth work in Cromarty; The Botanic Gardens Volunteers for their support to Inverness Botanic Gardens; Justine Dunn for support to youth work in Ardnamurchan; Lisa MacInnes for support to the Active Schools programme at Carrbridge Primary School; The Coracle Guys for support to Highland Folk Museum; David Murray for support to young drummers in Inverness.
  • Role Model Award: Ewan MacKintosh (Inverness Botanic Gardens).
  • Collaboration Award: Winning team – Improving Outcomes for Young People (educational recovery team); Highly commended – North Coast Visitor Centre Opening Team.
  • Team Award: Winning team – HLH Finance Team; Highly commended – Highland Archive Service.
  • Individual Award: Kari Moodie (Inverness Museum and Art Gallery).
  • Innovation Award: Escape-pain Project Team, Health and Wellbeing.
  • Public Nomination Award: Margaret Mathieson (Inverness Leisure).
  • Trading Board Special Award: Ben Nevis Visitor Centre Team, Fort William.
  • Chairman’s Special Award: Volunteer and Staff and Long-Service Award Team.
