A Caithness audience will be given a taste of the Emerald Isle later this month when Ireland the Show comes to the Assembly Rooms in Wick.

It features some of Ireland's most talented performers, accompanied by the Keltic Storm band and world champion Gael Force Irish dancers from Kerry, Mayo and Clare.

There will be a mix of well-known ballads and foot-stomping singalongs as well as stories and jokes from award-winning comedian Gary Gamble, reels and jigs from fiddler Ritchie Remo and the vocals of Elaine Boyle.

The show has enjoyed standing ovations and rave reviews.

The Wick date is Friday, July 28, at 7.30pm (for age 16 and over) with the promoters describing it as an "unmissable production that will take you on a journey through the decades of a globally loved culture".

Tickets can be booked online at www.wegottickets.com/event/562751 or phone 01955 609709.
