Wick High School pupil Natasha Fraser (second right) presents a cheque for £250 to the Thurso Cancer Research UK shop manager Sheila Gunn (right) as Natasha's grandfather, Robin Young (left), and cancer shop volunteer Wendy MacDonald look on.

The 14-year-old decided to hold a Stand up to Cancer fundraiser in memory of her late grandad, Bob, who died of lung cancer, and her late aunt, Moira, who died of breast cancer, by arranging a bake sale at the home of her grandparents, Robin and Rona Young, in Thurso. Along with her own baking skills, she received donations of delicious goodies from friends Emily Wilson, Liz Hewitson and Helen and Anne Mackay which all sold out in a few hours to raise the £250.
