Wick school donates to local foodbank

Senior pupils at Wick High School dug into their pockets to buy boxes of items for local people struggling to make ends meet over the festive season.

The S6 pupils delivered the boxes to Pat and Grant Ramsay of Caithness Foodbank last Friday.

Mrs Grant said: "We’re overwhelmed by their generosity. It's such a kind act from the young people of our community. We thank them so much from the volunteers and clients."
