The Wick Society’s historic fishing vessel Isabella Fortuna will again be paying a visit to the Scottish Traditional Boat Festival at Portsoy this summer.

The 19th-century Fifie is among around 30 traditional boats from around the UK that will sail into the Aberdeenshire port over the weekend of June 22/23.

The festival programme includes a big line-up of musical acts and a display by the Red Arrows aerobatic team.

Whisky distillery Glenglassaugh is the festival’s headline sponsor.

On Saturday, the Isabella Fortuna joined in the send-off for Wick couple Allan Lipp and Mhairi Ross as they set off on their round-Britain rowing challenge.
