Five volunteers have been honoured after collectively giving more than a century of service to the lifeboat service in Wick.
Twenty-year long service presentations were made to RNLI crew members Alec Forbes, David Malcolm and Gordon Morrison as well as deputy launching authority William Munro and press officer John Taylor. Mr Munro is also the water safety volunteer for the branch.
Coxswain Allan Lipp said: "There would be no service without volunteers, and there is real commitment from family members as well."
The awards were handed over on Saturday night in Mackays Hotel, which is owned by Murray and Ellie Lamont. Mr Lamont is chairman of the Wick lifeboat management committee.
Mr Lipp said: "We'd like to pass on our thanks to Murray and the team at Mackays Hotel. It was a fantastic night."
Wick crew members feature in the current series of Saving Lives at Sea on BBC Two, showcasing the lifesaving work of RNLI teams from around the UK and Ireland.
The latest episode, screened on Thursday night, included a call-out to rescue a photographer who had been cut off from the shore near Wick with an incoming tide. It can be seen on the BBC iPlayer.
The Wick crew will also feature later in the series.
