A Wick man was in a pub when he should have been at home complying with a court curfew.

Liam Begg's oversight cost him a fine of £330 at Wick Sheriff Court on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old admitted breaching the order on March 18. It required him to be at his home in Murchison Street, Wick, between the hours of 7pm and 7am daily.

Sheriff Gordon Fleetwood heard that Begg had apologised for the breach.
