OPENING hours of Wick Library are set to more than double when it relocates to the new Wick High School campus, which is due to open in a year’s time.

Both facilities will be open from 7am to 10pm on Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

The swimming pool in Martha Terrace and the Carnegie Library in Sinclair Terrace, which incorporates St Fergus Gallery, will be declared surplus following the opening of the new school.

Highland Council owns both buildings and is inviting expressions of interest to take them over.
