Wick hotel raises funds for Scotland’s air ambulance charity

A Wick hotel has boosted the funds of a charity which helps save lives.
The Nethercliffe Hotel held a series of fundraising events over March, culminating in a whisky tasting, for Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA). A total of £3765 was raised. Dominic Rigby, clinical team lead paramedic north division collected the cheque on behalf of the charity.

The SCAA responds, on average, to two time-critical emergency call-outs every day. It gets no statutory government funding and relies on donations from the public to maintain its life-saving flights.
