Wick High School helps new pupils transition with comic booklet
In a bid to make life easier for its intake of new pupils, Wick High School has produced a special transition booklet.
In preparation for the new S1 intake visiting the school for the first timetabled days this week, the educational establishment says it is “delighted to show pupils its new ‘Welcome to Wick High School’ transition booklet”.
Its website states: “We have produced this comic-style book to help prepare new students and their parents/carers [for] our school by explaining key points such as dress code, subjects and classroom expectations in a fun and welcoming way.”
It is available for online viewing and downloading below at P7 to S1 transition page as well as the Joining Wick High School page.

The school states: “When S1 pupils return to us in August we will also issue them with a printed copy. We hope that this is a useful and welcome addition to your/your child’s transition to us.”
