WICK Heritage Museum will welcome visitors on January 2 for its now traditional New Year open day.
The centre in Bank Row will be open from 11am to 4pm and entry is free.
Special attractions include the photographic collection from McDonald Photographers first seen during gala week and a display of traditional hand-knitted ganseys by Gordon Reid.
There will be an opportunity to have your photo taken in the replica Johnston studio, in period costume, courtesy of the Johnston photographic team.
Various musicians will play throughout the day and there will be Wick Voices oral history presentations.
The Wick Society boat section’s historic ship award will be on display.
Ian Leith, chairman of the Wick Society, said: "Dust off the New Year’s Day cobwebs and come along for a catch-up with friends."
