Wick Gardening Club held a “what’s left in your garden” cut flower show as part of their October meeting. The winner was Shirley Mackay (left), who is seen here receiving her trophy from Joanna Mackay who judged the competition and also gave a talk on cultivating bulbs.
Second prize went to Carole Grant, while Gladys Gunn took 3rd.
The event was held in the Nethercliffe Hotel, on Tuesday afternoon. Shirley’s winning display is on the left, along with the other exhibits.
