Wick and District Gardening Club's latest outing was to the garden at the Auld Post Office B&B in Spittal.

Members enjoyed meandering around the grounds and presented the owners, Lynne and Weyland Reid, with a donation towards their chosen charity – Spittal village hall.

They then had a meal at the Northern Sands Hotel in Dunnet.

The day out was rounded off with a visit to the garden at the Castle of Mey where club members were met by the head gardener, Chris Parkinson. They enjoyed their walkabout and Mr Parkinson was on hand to answer their gardening questions.
