Wick and Groats pigeon fanciers flying again





John O'Groats and Wick pigeon clubs held their first race of the season from Culbokie, a distance of 73 miles, on Saturday.

The birds were liberated at 11am with the winning bird timing in at 1.20pm to the loft of Raymond Starbuck.

Second and fourth went to Richard Wilson, while Mark Beer was third and sixth, with Ronnie Mackay taking fifth and seventh.
